I thought it would be nice to also include an image of the sheet music of Sylvia's "Fallin' In Love" as well.

I think it's strange it doesn't match the spelling of the single and how its listed on the album, "Falling", instead of how it should be, "Fallin'". It's puzzling!

41 years ago today, February 16, 1985, Sylvia debuted at #65 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart with “Fallin’ In Love”. It went on to peak at #2 for two weeks and spent a total of 22 weeks on the chart.

***It went #1 on Cashbox and Radio & Records publications.

Sylvia is by far my favorite vocalist. I gladly went to my favorite record store to purchase this fun song over 4 decades ago.

Sylvia, sadly posted earlier today about the passing of one of her band members from the 1980s, Pete Finney. He played steel and acoustic guitars in her band for about 5 years.

I thought I'd post it in honor of Sylvia and Pete making awesome music together all those years.

Sylvia’s been my absolute favorite vocalist for many decades. I’ve collected everything I possibly could throughout the years. That includes a rare 45 RPM from the KFC Songwriters Contest in 1986.
