Indoors ginger tabby cat sleeps on a cat tree, inside a light brown, carpeted "nest." he is curled in a circle, on his right side, with his left front paw draped over his face, as though shielding his eyes from light. a small portion of his nose and chin are visible under his arm; they are white. his ears are pink-rimmed. one of his rear paws is visible, and his pink toe beans are showing.

Scarlet spends most of her time on our windowsill in the living room. She loves sunbathing all day 🌞 This can make it difficult to get a nice photo of her, but on rare occasions she's a lot more cooperative: she decides to #sunbathe on our bed! We're not sure if that's because she sometimes likes a soft mattress rather than the wooden windowsill, or if it's because she is determined to cover every surface of the apartment with cat fur. Whatever her reasoning, the bed provides a wonderful setting for natural light portraits of our old kitty 🐱
