It's 3D Saturday! I didn't post anaglyphs for a while so finally I got one which I've made just yesterday.
Yesterday I took my gear out to macro-shoot the onion flower in the yard, and as you can see the whole set was flipped upside down - and man it was hard to work with everything in reverse (and on the ground already). Anyway, it was fun, and by the end, I've decided to shoot something for 3D making, so here you go.
To my eyes, it was perfect, but I'm expecting for some people viewing this (with the proper glasses) they might notice some ghosting or maybe their eyes won't be able to align the two pictures to make it into one. Some focus usually does it though.

Stayed up way too late to get another component of my stereogram generator done. Made a new Comfy node that programmatically creates the noise slivers, so I don't need to keep making them with filters in a graphics program first. The node computes a Perlin noise pattern, then fuzzes it up with a bunch of other parameters. Now it's easy to scale to whatever the input depth-map needs.
Also squashed the artifact bug.
I should have been hashtagging these posts to keep them together.

Onion Flower (3D).
It's 3D Saturday and with this anaglyph made quickly this morning from the yard. I had to squat and my right knee is really bad at the moment so I shot this quickly - when I made it as an anaglyph,there was a bit of ghosting but it goes away with some focus.
I really need to get my macro gear ready to shoot this ASAP!

It's 3D Saturday and with the first anaglyph of the new year! Shot this last week actually. Shot with phone and converted to B&W to enhance the 3D perception - the original image was tinted green because of the shade in the yard, and it makes it hard to perceive the depth when viewed with the anaglyph glasses.

3D Saturday and something from my latest post from my project with matchsticks. Luckily, I was able to keep the bird in the image and not cropped out! By the way, in case you have the glasses and you can view it in 3D, and in case it didn't look "right", try to flip the glasses upside down (i.e. reversing the colors for each eye). For my eyes, the two versions seem fine, but maybe for some it doesn't; just in case.

3D Saturday! I didn't have something new to post for today, but I took a glimpse at a gallery of JPEGs I've made from inside the Scientific Center here, from 2011, and noticed these fossils which were in display back then. I hope I got the name right though!
To my eyes the depth seems OK, except for the rightmost part where the difference in perspective was big, so there could be some ghosting when viewed with the anaglyph glasses.

Late Bloomer (3D).
It's 3D Saturday! And luckily, I do have something to post! I've shot this weeks ago but since I've posted the main image yesterday, I'm posting this now. Of course, it started as a documentation for my work, but then I realized I can do some 3D work here (and to my eyes, it's pretty good! you just need the proper glasses).
The only issue here probably is the moving seconds hands but the effect in general is good and the 3D depth can be seen when viewed with the proper glasses.

Bush Pass (3D) - 2012.
I didn't post 3Ds on Saturdays for some time, so I'm checking my archive and found this one, shot around my workplace back in 2012. Apparently, I've shot it with my Rokinon 8mm fisheye lens; a hard lens to work with when it comes to 3D anaglyphs. Yet, this image has some good depth to it when viewed with anaglyph glasses.
