I released a small Android game I’ve been working on called Midnight Solitaire.

It’s a quiet, atmospheric take on Klondike... rain on the window, a glowing TV, and old noir films playing in the background.

Wild things are happening. I played like 8-10 games of Solitaire on my Pocket PC throughout the day and ALL of them ended exactly the same way - QUEEN OF DIAMONDS was ALWAYS the last queen before the final row of kings in that exact same spot - first on the left.

I’ve been playing this game on different Pocket PCs since 2002 or so. Never seen anything like that.

Is that a #bug or #universe is trying to tell me something? 🤔

New updates to my solitaire game. I found myself going back to my other solitaire app to play a regular game, so I decided to add a "classic" mode.

Super easy in #godot to create a "is_classic" global var, and check that before rendering all the extra stuff I added. Plus added an x offset to make the table more centered. Also, once I got the correct openjdk installed, creating an Android version was easy as well. #solitaire #gamedev

I've posted before how much I really enjoy this game and play nothing else. NOW they have added TEAMS and a tournament. I have created a team SPELS GUDDER. The names I saw were so serious and the King Trump team declined to accept me HA well I was gonna get the boot day one so no loss.
