I'm going to predict that #rplace (r/place) is going to be fucking chaotic.

The "fuck #spez" thing is only going to get worse from here

Suggestion for Reddit mods and community: Don’t die on this hill. Don’t delete your account, and don’t get kicked out of mod position. Instead, stick around and help guide people to leave Reddit for these free spaces of the Fediverse. Drain Reddit perpetually.

I love all the malicious compliance in subreddit reopening. /r/WellThatSucks is now about vacuums.

Now that Reddit is useless, I've created a #BelieveInFilm magazine over on Kbin.

Interesting read- Offers a clear, technical analysis to all the confusion, hysteria, and drama regarding Reddit, Kbin, and Lemmy recently.

It's important to understand that there are two related, but very separate, types of users being talked about in the situation.

A, people that end up there from a web search
B, people that are actual reddit users

I would be interested in seeing data on how many of the vocal "get back to normal" comments are actually from unit B. I've personally seen people complaining about getting private messages a la when trying to read answers to issues, but it's hard to tell who is who.
