Por mim, continuo a preferir os pastéis de nata da pastelaria do meu bairro, e a lamentar os turistas que formam aquelas bichas interminaveis para os pastéis de Belém. Mas... a cada um as suas preferências!

Also meine portugiesische Schwiegerfamilie würde da nicht mitgehen. Lauwarm und mit ein bisschen Zimt schmecken #PasteisDeNata eindeutig am besten... :mastolove:
Bei meinem ersten Besuch in Lissabon hat meine Frau uns in der Antiga Confeitaria de Belém eine Sechserpackung der legendären Pastéis gekauft - und keines der Pastéis hat es bis au eine der Bänke im Park vor dem nahegelegenen Kloster geschafft :mastoinnocent:

Verwinkelte Gassen, atemberaubende Aussichten, steile Treppen, viel Touri-Kitsch. Lissabon ist vielfältig und zauberhaft.

Winding alleys, breathtaking views, steep stairs, lots of touristy kitsch. Lisbon is diverse and enchanting.

A friend visited lately. We baked two batches of vegan pasteis de nata over 3 days. The first batch (second image) was demolished instantly. It was a surprisingly easy thing to do, and now I have vegan(soy) custard under my belt!! The tricky bit is getting the cases and the bake right. Needs high as possible and fast. Custard colour difference due to using caster vs demarrara sugar.

A cupcake tray on a hob, filled with freshly baked pasteis de nata, each a browned and crispy puff pastry case filled with a risen, pale yellow custard with some caramelisation on top.

The first batch. Compared to the last image, these have much more pastry and a browner custard (we used demarrara sugar in this batch). These are a bit cooler so the custard has collapsed more.

O update ver 5.80.3 foi atualizado 3 semanas após a versão PC e deu tempo suficiente para terminar a liga 💎. Com este novo layout "linear" teria sido mais fácil ficar entediado 🇵🇹
