Currently, the background project is https://PersonalCompute.Net/resources/computation-structures - a remix of the Computation Structures course from MIT OCW ( https://ocw.mit.edu/6-004S17 ). At the moment it's beta quality, meaning it still has some incomplete parts, but is overall usable. The aim is to get a complete Computer Architecture course ready-to-share in a single file-bundle, and with fewer rough edges than the original version (having the video lectures distributed via youtube-playlists or via a separate torrent containing 5-minute-chunks is annoying, but fixable). When it will get "really" released (next few weeks), will also contain markdown-sources, pandoc-presets and ffmpeg-scripts.

Кажется, в РФ ситуация получше, потому что из-за эмиграции IT-специалистов здесь образовался сильный дефицит разработчиков , при этом зарплаты бурно растут . Неудивительно, что в таких условиях после февраля 2022 года в РФ резко вырос спрос на курсы по программированию и аналитике данных . Cреди профессионалов бытует мнение, что выпускники курсов обладают лишь поверхностными знаниями. Но на фоне нынешнего кризиса у этих выпускников есть призрачная гарантия трудоустройства, потому что платные школы зачастую берут на себя такое обязательство. Некоторые даже возвращают деньги за обучение, если студент не трудоустроился после выпуска. Хотя не всё так радужно и найти работу всё равно очень тяжело, но соискателей это не останавливает…

I've been thinking I might go back to school, see if I can manage to pass a #computerScience course now that I'm old enough to wake up at 8am.
Then I remembered that #MIT has free classes on #opencourseware.
I decided to feed the Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science class into #NotebookLM to see what it was about.
The podcast overview quickly told me that there wasn't much there that was new to me, which is still useful!
This one's pretty good - I've used Google's NotebookLM AI to generate a podcast on innovation in the mining sector based on materials from MIT's Open Courseware. Enjoy.
