My Generation is the debut studio album by the English rock band the Who, released on 3 December 1965 by Brunswick Records in the United Kingdom, and Festival Records in Australia. In the United States, it was released on 25 April 1966 by Decca Records as The Who Sings My Generation, with a different cover and a slightly altered track listing. Besides the members of the Who, being Roger Daltrey (vocals), Pete Townshend (guitar), John Entwistle (bass) and Keith Moon (drums), the album features contributions by session musician Nicky Hopkins (piano).

Hearing My Generation for the first time changed my life, and there were times when it could accurately be said that I loved it more than life itself, but never in all these years did I think of Roger's stutter as a way of transitioning from using his voice as a melodic element to using it as a rhythmic element, and back again.

@wegegeld @jwz In defense of this planet's youth I would like to point out, that this planet's major fuckups are designed, engineered and executed by #MyGeneration especially those that identify as "old white men". I have no problem to concede that the young ones can be annoying as hell but they are not the ones in charge.
