Been working on a small JavaFX app for a minor tech demo. Getting things to even run in the IDE is tricky with all Maven crap. So many weird settings and plugins and as soon as you need an external dependency the complexity explodes.
Now, trying to build something that can be distributed to another machine is absolutely horrible. Makes C++ feel pretty manageable in comparison. So many modules, class versions, paths here and there and nothing really works.
