A nice little getting started list for #lefty #guitar chords.

Her loaner is a full-sized acoustic and gorgeous and sounds great--but very difficult for someone just getting started. She was looking wistfully at the small Luna travel guitar I had brought... I'm wondering how hard it would be to get her something easier to handle so she can fight just one impossible battle at a time.

#Lefty #guitar players, what are some good resources for someone just getting started specific to your sinister condition?

One of my beginning #Guitars4Vets students is left-handed, so I'm realizing all of our support materials assume a right-handed player. Trying to show her chords on her loaner guitar is an exercise in frustration; I have new sympathy for those trying to learn on the "wrong" hand.

Also, can you simply restring an acoustic upside down and play lefty, or are there gotchas?

I have a Facebook account to stay in touch with my extended family and friends that I no longer see on a regular basis. However, I have recently spotted a flaw within the algorithms that Facebook uses to suggest groups and stuff that I should be following or joining.

As I am very open about my political opinions and beliefs, I often call myself a Socialist for everyone to see. Except that I don’t: I actually call myself a lefty, because that’s what I am! At least, that’s what I self identify as on social media.

If I get one more advert for a left handed tin opener…

As a lefty who mouses with left hand google sheets requiring me to use ctrl-v to paste is INFURIATING.

There's a menu item for paste in the context menu but it just pops up a little scolding dialogue instructing me to move my hand off the input device, to a different input device and do the operation there.

People wonder why I prefer the CLI.
