A year ago I took video during takeoff from Melbourne #MEL / #YMML on the flight to Los Angeles #LAX / #KLAX. It was my first flight on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. With a view to the left wing, my video captured the legendary "bendy" carbon fiber wings of the 787 as it began to develop lift for flight. This is a colour sunrise photo in landscape format of two aircraft approaching to land. Los Angeles (2018). The lower half of the image is filled with a layer of white, slightly fluffy, stratus cloud. The upper half of the photo has a near transparent layer of thin cirrus cloud filling the remains of the the photo, with darker stripes stretching across the frame from left to right and is rendered golden by the still hidden (behind the San Gabriel mountain range) rising sun. In the lower left corner is a large four engined passenger plane (Boeing747) with its wheels lowered on its approach to land. In the upper right corner is a further aircraft, possibly 5-10km behind the first. This jet has 2 engines and also has its wheels lowered.

Mittlerweile leider reproduzierbar: #GlobalEntry Einreise am #LAX und es ist absolut kein I-94 aufzufinden.

Anders als bei den anderen Flughäfen haben die da so nen einzelnen Kiosk, der anders aussieht. Beamten bestätigen dir, dass alles okay ist (und die Daten), aber es gibt kein I-94 obwohl das System deine Ankunft sieht.

Selbst wenn du zurück gehst und nachfragst gibt's nur ein "taucht irgendwann auf".

Geht dann wohl Mal wieder zum Special Case Office nach San Ysidro.
