The Australian Bureau of Meteorology really has lost it.

It's been saying since 8am that there is rain in Melbourne. Still saying it.

Reader, I can assure you there is no rain in Melbourne.

Also see the radar, which shows....no rain in Melbourne.

Also, the new radar maps are very difficult to read with that colour scheme.

Current and future weather in Melbourne, by the hour, showing rain at 11am, 12md, 1pm tec, until 8pm. There is no rain in Melbourne. Hasn't been for many, many days. Bureau of Meteorology showing radar view of Melbourne and surrounds. There is no rain on the radar.

The bearings of the wheels on my #peli #1535air are on their way out. There’s a few tutorials on fixing them with real hardware, but they’re by Americans so I had to Europe-ify the #bom. When I’ve actually done the fix will do a write up on my blog, but it might be a while.

Woke at 5am this morning (just over half an hour ago) drenched in sweat.

It was a hot night again.

#BOM is promising me rain today but it’s been forecasting that all of this year for my area & it’s been wrong 100% of the time.

That BOM has issued an extreme fire warning that contains a significant ambiguity is very concerning and indicative of multiple roles having failed.

This looks like the sort of error which can kill people.

I’m getting a little tired of the #BOM #app constantly telling me it’s raining or storming when there’s no rain anywhere near me.

According to BOM it’s currently raining here & will continue raining for a few hours.
