View of the west façade and bell tower of a white church against a blue sky. On the left, the image is bordered by a tree with colourful foliage. The main part of the church was built between 1160 and 1200 from field stones. The building is painted white, and the tower, with a square floor plan, has a high, pointed dome covered with grey shingles. The bells in the choir are not visible because the shutters in the openings are closed. Below the spire, the wrought-iron monogram of the Danish King Frederick V and further letters and numbers adorn the façade.

The shutters of the tower windows and the monogram, together with the pointed tower dome, resemble a face. A goblin? An oversized dwarf? In any case, a curiously friendly creature!

Das Bild zeigt den Stamm eines Baumes, der sich in zwei große Äste teilt und so eine deutliche V-Form bildet. Die Baumrinde ist grob strukturiert und mit Flechten sowie Moos bedeckt. Im Holz beider Äste sind mehrere dunkle, unregelmäßig geformte Löcher sichtbar, die wahrscheinlich von Spechten oder Insekten stammen und den Eindruck eines Gesicht erwecken. Der Fokus liegt scharf auf dem Baumstamm, während der Hintergrund unscharf ist und aus warmen Gelb-, Orange- und Grüntönen eines herbstlichen Waldes besteht. Die Beleuchtung lässt den Hintergrund hell erscheinen und hebt den dunkleren Baumstamm im Vordergrund hervor.

Das Nachbarhaus bekommt die Augen auch nicht so richtig auf.

Schneebedecktes Dach des Hauses gegenüber. Zwei Dachfenster nebeneinander sind so mit Schnee bedeckt, dass sie wie halb geschlossene Augen aussehen.

Auf einem Mülleimer liegt Schnee. Die Öffnung sieht aus wie ein Mund und es wurden zwei Löcher als Augen in den Schnee gebohrt

I think it's fascinating that in most of my Kaleido pictures the human brain is able to detect faces. Not always as easy as in this example, but #ISeeFaces all the time. 🙂

Kaleidoscope-like digital art created from one of my own photographs. The base colour here is a light turquoise, which becomes paler towards the edges. There are also red and black accents, such as a dark star in the centre and faces made up of red geometric shapes around the edges.

Es ist wieder mal soweit: Überall Gesichter

Grauer Holzklotz mit sechs Schrauben in Fensterrahmen geschraubt, jeweils drei in einem Dreieck oben und unten. Dazwischen ein Loch, in dem eine Stange steckt. Die obigen drei Schrauben bilden Augen und Nase, das Loch wirkt wie ein offener Mund. Unten spiegelverkehrt. Die obigen Augen-Schrauben scheinen durch Risse im Holz Wimpern zu haben.
