@Craig I use #IceCubesApp on my phone and I can see “Suggested Users” via the search option. Until a few days ago I was on mastodon.social and a great many of those suggestions appeared inactive. I just too a look again, on dice.camp, and they’re all very much active. So I’m guessing that the instance is the issue? But you’re also here…

The @IceCubesApp can’t display the number of boosts if it’s too big. It shows “1..”. #IceCubesApp #iOS

I like that #ivoryapp has the smoothest scrolling

I like that #icecubesapp supports fedi features sooner and loads custom emojis faster and MOST IMPORTANTLY supports animated emojis. But it doesn’t scroll well :blobcatfacepalm: maybe those things are related

At least we have a choice in apps and I get to support both, but I truly wish we got a little more cross-contamination of features.

@erikcats I use #IceCubesApp and that allows me to view home timelines from other servers very easily. I’ll scroll both for a bit and, in the words of my American chums, see what resonates… 🤪

When using lists or tag groups I can scroll back through the timeline and see 40-50 posts. Then the timeline doesn’t refresh further earlier posts. If I select another list/tag group and then return to the first one I can scroll back to the oldest post as seen before and then the timeline refreshes with further older posts… then stops. To continue scrolling back in time I need to keep hopping out and back…@IceCubesApp #icecubesapp

The iOS versions are stable but my Mac IceCubes app (2.1.3) keeps crashing. Trust I’m not alone.

Is #IceCubesApp the only mastodon client on iOS supporting tag groups?

I love tag groups to follow broader topics without cluttering my main timeline. Following individual hashtags does not work for me, as they either flood my timeline, or, if muted, are way too specific to keep track of what is under way in a topic that is best characterized by multiple hashes.

Am I missing something? Any better approach?
