1) #Kimochi #SilverBells Christmas sale - it has been going on annually for years and I never paid much attention. It’s kind of amazing.
2) Bought local 5-year-aged #Umeboshi, Ume paste with shiso seeds, local #Miso & #tamari (byproduct of making the miso), #Local #Furikake from the #ume farmer, and some handmade #ramen bowls that are simple and lovely…
3) Cooked dinner with our haul! (Used the precious stuff sparingly.)

#vegan #donuts from Little Vessels in #honolulu. They aren’t open every day, but well worth the trip. Standouts were the #miso #caramel #furikake and the #lemon #black #sesame. Get there early if you can because a line will start to form before they open.

Been wanting to try the #NiamosMix (sour cream and chive popcorn) with #furikake (dry Japanese seasoning mix). It added a different extra flavor to the popcorn. Seasoned sushi #rice for the base topped with #furikake and crumbled #nori, then layered with a mixture of #salmon , imitation crab, cream cheese, #kewpie mayo, #sriracha , baked until bubbling, topped with chives and sauces of your choice (such as spicy mayo, soy, wasabi, etc)

Served on nori sheets or lettuce with sliced cucumber and avocado. Very tasty 👍🏻
