Zuerst immer Apps aus dem #fdroid Store mit #droid-ify und #accrescent store verwenden. 2. Wahl ist #aurora Store.
#nextcloud, #davx5, #forkclient statt Telegram, #sunup als #pushclient, Passwortmanager #keepassdx, Galerie #aves, Kontakte #fossifycontacts und Kalender #etar, zum Austausch zwischen Profilen #interprofilesharing
Das geht bei mir gut! Viel Erfolg!

Der #fossify Kalender gefällt mir auch sehr. Mal sehen, vielleicht ersetzt er meinen #Etar Kalender. Der gefällt mir allerdings auch nicht schlecht. Da muss ich noch etwas vergleichen. Was meint die Community? Wo habt ihr Unterschiede gefunden?

An modernen Kalenderapps gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut, dass ich mehrere Erinnerungen für einen Termin einrichten kann.

Finally cut the Gmail cord and moved to #fastmail

Took a few hours of futzing with DNS settings at my registrar, getting to know #thunderbird , and figuring out what to use for calendar because unlike on the dektop #Thunderbird doesn't include the calendar on #android .

Eventually landed on #Etar synced to #fastmail via #DAVx .Setup was quite smooth. Really the biggest time sink was in deciding what to use.

This was one of the big steps towards liberating myself from Google's clutches. I'm very glad it's done.

Aber welche Kalender-App könnt Ihr empfehlen? Mit gefällt #Etar sehr. Ist der Kalender denn funktionstüchtig, wenn er mal keine Verbindung zum Internet hat? Also das er eingetragene Termine später hochlädt?

I've been experimenting with #WebCAL subscription on #Android and the difficulties encountered clearly show how much power the owners of the devices in our pockets have.

Such a simple operation like "following" peers is made hard for no technical reason: stock apps do not support that, you have to install something external.

As of today what you need is: install #ICSx5 to subscribe and #ETAR to also see the URL field of the events.

Do you know any simpler way ?

P.S. Silly LtR-centric person doesn't even stop to consider that the program was written by someone in a RtL-writing region.

@eleder yo uso el calendario de #nextcloud (tenemos una instancia en un servidor de la gente maja de @MaadiX, pero dependende tu perfil seguro puedes pedir una en sitios como sindominio.net o disroot.org) y de ahí en android uso #etar -como alguien apuntaba por aqí- unto con #DAVx5 una app opensource para sincronizar caldav y tal y cual. No es lo más intuitivo del mundo pero funciona, y todo FOSS ;)
