The aim should be introduce dedicated buses lanes, aka #BRT. Increase frequency and timings of busses. Have clean busses. Make tracking of busses possible. Introduce a congestion tax for all cars and trucks, which is linearly proportional to engine capacity and road length occupied. Have a common transit card across NY and NJ.
Pathway to hell is paved with good intentions and good deeds. Like Free bus rides.

Irizar e-mobility will supply 39 fully electric buses to Arriva #Netherlands, marking the manufacturer’s first deployment in the country. The order includes 18 12-metre buses and 21 18-metre articulated Irizar ie tram models, which will operate on high-capacity #BRT routes in the Oost-Brabant region, including Tilburg and ’s-Hertogenbosch. Delivery is scheduled for December 2026.
The buses will feature Irizar batteries with more than 615 kWh capacity and will be charged at depots using a Combo 2 system. Accessibility is enhanced through electric and manual ramps, while interurban-style seating is aimed at improving passenger comfort. Driver ergonomics are supported by personalised seat position memory.
The contract strengthens Irizar e-mobility’s presence in the #Benelux market and supports Arriva’s plans to expand zero-emission public #transport on busy urban routes.
