Windows 11 and OneDrive is a gift that keeps on giving. Left my laptop on over the weekend and magically my hard disk ended up with zero free disk space on Monday.

Turns out Corporate OneDrive decided that, against my wishes, I really wanted to keep a copy of my files locally.

Unfortunately my drive did not have the space.

Um ein ThinkCentre muss ich mich nach dem heutigen 2. #digitalIndependenceDay noch kümmern. Auf dem ist aktuell nur #Win11 installiert, da ich das Gerät aber sehr selten nutze, bin ich dort dieses Jahr noch nicht dran gewesen.

Ein Blogeintrag zu #CachyOS ist gerade noch in der Mache. Ich lasse euch den Link hier im Thread zukommen, sobald er veröffentlicht ist.

Aus der Serie "Spaß mit #Win11 " heute die Folge "WSL2 klaut den USB-Kartenleser". Habe mir ein kleines Script gebaut, welches die ext4 Partition einer #RaspberryPi Speicherkarte im Ubuntu WSL2 anzeigt. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Nur ab und zu gibt #WSL aus unerfindlichen Gründen den SD-Kartenleser nicht immer frei. Selbst ein Neustart hilft nicht. Entweder im Gerätemanager unter USB-Controller nach einem #usbipd Gerät suchen, dieses löschen und direkt nach neuen Geräten suchen. Oder sich ein powershellscript schreiben (lassen), welche gefangene USB-Geräte findet, trennt und automagisch neu installiert.

Egal, was ich auch anfange, immer stoße ich auf komische Sachen. Vermutlich wäre es im Mainstream doch einfacher...

Wtedy to ja z kolei spanikowałem.
Okazało się że #win11 - który zamulił mi na maksa bo mało miejsca na dysku a ja mu zacząłem je zwalniać - po prostu spowolnił czas żeby nie było że mi usuwa pliki po kilkanaście minut :D
No bo co innego...

Zrobiłem restart dla pewności.
Ok - było już normalnie. No tego jeszcze nie widziałem.

Wow, #Microsoft fährt auf dem 3 Monate alten #Win11 Arbeitsgerät ein Riesen-Update, was mit einer Dauer von bis zu 1 Std. angekündigt wurde und nun vor sich hinrödelt.
Sie wollen wohl mal wieder "unser Bestes".

Silly question time.
If I get a couple of peripherals from different manufacturers running on the 2.4GHz band, do I need to use the USB dongles I get with each, or can I get away with just using 1?
Looking at a compact keyboard and separate number pad, and would like to free up a USB port if possible.

Last win11 frustration: Right click stops working randomly, so does screen capture. My usb-hub disconnects and connects again randomly. Screen capture gets locked by admin (or so does the computer say). Everything works again after a reboot - but that severely breaks my workflow. #win11 #problems

Senaste irritationerna: Högerklick slutar random att fungera, skärmklippverktyget blockeras enligt jobbdatorn av admin helt random och nu har min usb-hubb börjat kopplas ur och i lite random. Samtliga fel fixas med en reboot. Men det innebär att jag måste stänga ner alla program och bryta min workflow.
