The Maine Immigrant Rights Coalition. and other community partners have set up a hotine to report potential CE sightings. Please use the SALUTE method when reporting ICE to the hotine, Unconfirmed sightings create panic and confusion. please save the number to your phone, or take a tab with the number to keep handy.
Size: How many agents/vehicles?
Activity: What are they doing?
Location: Where exactly is this happening? (exact address if possible)
Unit: what agency? (ICE, CBP. etc)
Time: When did you see this?
Equipment: Vehicle descriptions, clothing, badges, etc.

I'm way underslept because I had an early morning appointment, and when I woke up too early for that, I got stuck thinking about the dumpster fires, and what I could do.
There isn't much I can do, but today I went into a couple of locally-owned businesses to ask them if they had a plan for when ICE starts targeting our community. The owner of one is an immigrant, and the other is minority-owned.
I talked to them about locking their doors and putting signs in the windows denying ICE permission to enter.
I also had therapy this morning, and told my therapist that if there comes a point when she's afraid to go out to pick up groceries or whatever, I'd do that for her.
She's more concerned for her family, who live in a mostly-immigrant community, than for herself. She said she had other clients who are worrying about this for themselves, and I encouraged her to give them my contact info, so I can can help.
I've done what I can for today, and feel a little better. More will have to wait for another day.
@NMBA My problem with #2A is that people are too cowardly to use it against the #fascist who's ascencion and stay in power it was designed to prevent or at least cut short.
