Reached Wayllabamba after an early start in Cusco and felt the energy change. Walking along the Urubamba River, passing Llactapata ruins, reminded me how the Incas shaped this landscape. Camped in Ayapata that night , pure Andean serenity.

Hiking from Wayllabamba to Ayapata on the first day was the perfect warm-up. We passed by waterfalls, local villages, and llamas just chilling on the trail. I already felt the Andes starting to work their magic on me.
