Three giant tracks appear isolated in the shadow-strewn snow. The wind-swept snow holds three deep impressions, each roughly a yard long, with roughly a yard between them. The shadows of trees throw sharp bars across the snow, falling in and around the tracks. The untouched snow is lightly textured by wind.

One of the tracks, photographed up close with a hand for scale. The single impression is nearly a yard long, with complex internal structure not common in known ‘footprints’. The hand is wearing a fingerless woolen glove and red winter coat sleeve.
