Today, 15 years ago I moved here. There is a story behind, of course: I lived in Malmö and had no plans to do otherwise. The morning of Jan 11 2011 one of my neighbours, a mentally ill addict, decided that I should die. He tried to kick the door down whilst shouting and threatening me. He came back later, around noon, and tried again.
I managed to escape and then spent six weeks on a friend's floor. I needed a new home urgently and Landskrona was cheap and with lots of available apartments. And here I am.

Why did he want to kill me, you may ask. I have no idea. I had never talked to him. He died some 10 years ago in a freak accident. Him and 2 others died of carbon monoxide poisoning due to a badly handled fireplace. They were too drunk to notice.
Did I call the police? No. No good would have come of that, and also... police. I'm still traumatized by this.

I like my little apartment, i mean; all my stuff is here, but #Landskrona will never be home. It's a pretty little town, but "home" is #Malmö, and always will be. I don't want to die here. I might, but I don't want to. I cannot afford to move. Moving costs - something ppl don't seem to understand, and I have no network that can help me pack, clean, carry and move stuff so I would have to pay for all those services... which I can't.

So here we are.... Me and my stuff...

On my bike ride yesterday, I did a double-take at this anachronistic emblem of the Cold-War Zeitgeist, a Trabant still flying DDR colors.

Spotted, of all places, on the eastern side of Berlin, Massachusetts. Irony at its finest.

über einem Hauseingang mit einer sehr alten verwitterten und repataturbedürftigen schweren Haustür aus Holz ist dort, wo zu Gründerzeiten ein festes Fenster mit Bogen war, ein Heck von einem Trabant 601 Kombi eingebaut.
noch komplett mit Rädern, Auspuff und Leuchten. RS sieht so aus, als wäre er geradewegs dorthin eingeschlagen.

Ich lebe seit 15 Jahren hier in #Tokyo in einem japanischen Unternehmen. Dieses Foto zeigt meinen Arbeitsplatz. Ja, ich darf #Linux als Desktop verwenden. Aber die oft gestellte Frage ist, warum ich ein #Trabant auf der Ablage stehen habe.
Ganz einfach, es soll mich an die undemokratische Zeit erinnern und dient zur Mahnung an die Zukunft. Und wir gleiten auf diese Zeiten hin! #Überwachung wohin man schaut. Freiheiten werden eingeschränkt. Und so weiter.

Tag 22: Norwegen versucht uns los zu werden, zumindest fühlt sich das Wetter so an. Verregnete Fahrt von Bergen nach Jørpeland. Eigentlich hat es nur in den Tunneln nicht geregnet. Hier angekommen begrüßt uns, wie schon am Nordkapp und am nördlicheren Nordkapp, feinstes, norwegisches Wanderwetter. Wird bis morgen erstmal ignoriert, soll vieleicht aufklaren. Ein Trabantpilot kränkelt. Wünschen wir ihm gut Besserung, während wir vorzüglich speisen.

Preikestolen Basecamp mit Blick auf den Revsvatnet

Kräfte sammeln bei einem Cappuccino und einem guten Buch am Kamin in der Hotellobby, während es draußen regnet.

Rinderragout auf Kartoffelbrei mit Karotten. Deliziös.

Und zum Dessert: Rhabarberkuchen mit Erdbeersalsa und Vanilleeis.

Tag 21: 3 Wochen. Aber das Ende ist in Sicht, besiegelt und abgemacht. Fähre und Unterkünfte weitgehend gebucht. Nach dem trüben Wetter von gestern gab es heute blauen Himmel und Sonne satt auf der Etappe nach Bergen. Dafür soll es die kommenden Tage feucht werden. Morgen geht's Richtung Lysebotn. Tags darauf, auf den Preikestolen. Und dann scchnurstracks nach Hause !
