A poster for Toronto Games Week 2025, to be held June 12-18. At the top, the Ts in Toronto are stylized as gaming controllers, and so is the W. Prominently in the middle is a whimsical illustration of the city Toronto as seen from above, which includes The ExPlace Wind Turbine, two Flexity streetcars, the Royal Ontario Museum (with Daniel Libeskind's iconic addition), the Christie Pits tiger, and is that Gaasyendietha, the Lake Ontario monster, in the bottom righthand corner? There are a number of other features of the city, like the lighthouse on Toronto Islands, a rainbow sidewalk, the inflatable movie screen at Fort York, the CN Tower, the Don River, Casa Loma, Princes' Gates (the triumphal arch and a monumental gateway at Exhibition Place), the smokestack at the Don Valley Brick Works, the Don River, the list goes on. There are some subtle references to video games, like coins one could conceivably pick up (such as the coins in Nintendo's Mario franchise, and also like in Subway Surfers). In the corners are, clockwise from the top left: playing cards, a gaming controller, a pentagonal trapezohedron (OK, a 10-sided dice with numbers on it) and a joystick. There are sponsors' logos at the bottom, and a QR code in the bottom right of the poster.
