As I mentioned before, I've been working on a #Linux-native(ish?) application, to use on a Linux #tablet.
I've been using @beeware #Toga for this.
And Kodi-JSON python package to talk to the #JSON #RPC #API of Kodi.
You can give it a run yourself, if you have a #Kodi set-up.

There's no "native" Linux remote control for #Kodi, and it's been frustrating me.
So of course I'm now building one with @beeware
#Toga is quite... I'm probably lacking the experience, but it seems pretty rudimentary so far.
Not in a bad way, it's actually pretty great to get started quickly.

I am trying to update a table that #toga shows on screen. To problems:
1. the code that is supposed to fire when pressing the start button fires spontaneously.
2. the table doesn't update.
