Had to split a level in Turscar Isle into two parts for performance reasons, so I recorded myself doing that.
Got back into #gamedev a bit recently and this is one of the most wholesome bugs I've ever encountered. #signeddistancefunction and #raymarching is so exceedingly bodacious, we can have accidental shadows on our debug #octree grid lines.
Big Head Mode is utterly useless and pointless, but I just *have* to add it to any game I work on!
Me, trying to get my player character to climb into a vent without falling out of the map:
Why do I even have this --lever-- feature?
Just shipped a small but impactful UX improvement: you can now share discoveries directly from the scan result screen. One tap instead of five.

Making a game in GDScript is already slow. Converting it to C# makes it even slower.
Even if it won’t be finished on the original schedule, I’ll keep going until it’s done.

Who just spent an hour throwing log messages into everything to figure out why a button was doing nothing, only to find he hadn't assigned the pressed() signal in Godot?
Not me. Not at all. Nope. Nah. nope.avi...
