Es gibt einige Forscher die ernsthaft am Warp/Alcubierre Antrieb Forschen aber bisher hat das keine Person zum laufen bekommen.
Remscheid oder Ramsheid (genaue Schreibweise ist unklar weil die Person selbst unterschiedliche angegeben hat) konnte auch nur Teile der Alcubierre - Rowan Gleichung (ungefähr Mitte des 22. Jahrhunderts) lösen was ihm dann zur Entwicklung des RYDE (Remscheid - TheorY - DrivE) gebracht hat der aber komplett andere Grundlagen hat welche auch für den Slip/Slyde Transport genutzt werden.
Die einzigen die behaupten eine funktionierenden Warp Antrieb zu haben sind die Leute im Enterprise Project die "voll funktionsfähige Nachbauten" von historischen Science Fiction Schiffen schaffen (u.a. Star Trek, Star Wars, Mass Effect, Captain Future, The Expanse etc) allerdings ist das eher ein Trick mit Spiegeln und Hologrammen.

Mit Ryde 10 hätte man wahrscheinlich Instant Teleportation. Interessanterweise wurde eine ähnliche Technik auf Basis des RYDE dazu verwendet Kleinere Transportportale zu schaffen um ohne Shuttle von einem Schiff zu einem Planeten gelangen zu können (Slip/Slyde)

Postally used on 24 August 1949 with Ryde cancellation on orange 2d stamp and sent to Mrs Laker, Star & Garter, 89 St Pancras, Chichester, Sussex.
Fairly good condition, with slight corner bumps, but large crease to top left corner.

Where I live! Well the town in the distance, not the pier.

#RydePier has undergone extensive renovations over the past couple of years and now has a central walkway to reach the end and the catamaran service.

We have so many photos of this scene, taken in all types of weather but none for a couple of years because of all the works going on. It's finally finished, well almost!

My husband took this shot of the #CrescentMoon over All Saints church in #Ryde on the #IsleofWight

He used a telephoto lens and was standing a mile away to capture this perspective. It also involved dodging some traffic as the angle needed to be from the middle of a busy road!
