Their #game #Rustler is just the masterpiece.
It is really GTA2 just put into medieval times. Just instead of cars there are horses. Running over people, traffic signs, cops (guards), even the music (just hire the bard) still there.

The reuse details like type of horse shown for a moment in the corner of the screen when you hop on, arrows around you navigating you to quests or repaint of horse to hide from guards.

In the past couple of days I debugged an issue affecting #rustler in #illumos ( #omnios ). Rustler is an ergonomic way to implement NIFs for #erlang / #elixir and they weren't loading at all. This led me to a fairly fun rabbithole.

Would I use #elixir for work? Absolute not!!! Why, remember I am no web developer. Instead I am doing Data Science project in geoinformatics. I simply have not found any packages for that field. Perhaps there are some Rust libraries, that could be used with #rustler. I do not know. For Deep Learning it looks nice, when you do not do something special (nODE) For machine learning a lot of models are missing. Its new
