Located in Pasadena, the house was once home to William Wrigley Jr. and his wife Ada Wrigley was also known for the Chicago Cubs Wrigley Field and Wrigley Chewing Gum.

Upon Ada’s death in 1958, the Wrigley family presented the property to the city of Pasadena with the request that it become home for the Tournament of Roses. Since then, the house has served as headquarters for the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game. The Wrigley's purchased the home when it was completed in 1914 for $170,000. It has a large garden as well.

Bernie Sanders supporters are marching down the middle of Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, California at the end of the Rose Parade. One person is wearing a huge Bernie costume that is taller than people. He has long arms, and people walking on each side of the puppet control the arm movements. The rest of the people are carrying campaign signs supporting Bernie Sanders for president in 2016.

Another photo of the Bernie supporters as well as a religious group off to the side (not part of the Bernie group). A small float made of paper has blue and white pompoms around the edge with a white square cake decorated with red roses (made out of paper). A Bernie figure is popping out of the cake holding a sign with both his arms stretched out to the sides. He is dressed in a suit and tie. Watched the #RoseParade on #KTVU2 because it was on & I didn't want to bother changing the channel.

SF's float (the 1st in 50 yrs in the parade) was one of the first. It won a prize for something but didn't look all that interesting to me. 🤷

I can't remember the last time I watched the #RoseParade but it's raining and after some manual #Rainharvesting, it's nice to sit and watch. Kudos to all the marching bands and floats and dancers who endured the rain and looked like true professionals. Families must be proud.
