Today I received my village's garbage collection calendar, which is composed of an overview of the concept and a yearly calendar of pickup days per neighbourhood. My systematic self read all of it (mostly to check if there is any recategorisation of stuff since last year).
I was particularly pleased by the sustainability advice in 15 points, that starts with the usual "give away unused clothes, use the bookcrossing shelf in the city square, make use of the free e-cargo-bikes, prefer tap water" and ends with "question role models, encourage discussion, go vote" which in a very extended meaning can be seen as... garbage management of social constructs?
It made my day! I feel more willing to be involved in my village's (practical) management and also motivated to clean up and correctly dispose of unused/broken/non-functional thoughts.
