This Mobil gas station in Randolph is very nearby, at only 1.4 miles, but even at that distance, the perspective starts to play some tricks with one's eyes. I love this photo because the house at 1251 N Main St, the next building north of the gas station on that side of the street, appears to have moved directly between the gas pumps and the store.

To the right of the gas station is Randolph Automotive Servicenter and beyond that is Rock City Pizza, which was formerly a Dunkin Donuts.

Stetson Hall, 6 South Main St and First Congregational Church, 1 South Main St both in Randolph MA as seen from Buck Hill. Also visible in the photo is the flagpole at Crawford Square (1 North Main St), Abington Bank (129 N Main St), and First Baptist Church, 518 N Main St, all in Randolph.

One of the interesting things about the view of Stetson Hall is that the building can be seen all the way to where it meets the ground. So recently after I had been up on Buck Hill to watch a sunrise, I took a drive and stood on the front porch of Stetson Hall and looked back at Buck Hill. Buck Hill is the only one of the Blue Hills visible from this vantage point. There are several things that can be seen in both photos including the flagpole (very right of frame), the Abington Bank building (just left of one of the street signs), the traffic lights and the cannon.

Harmony Hill Farm, 354 High St, Randolph MA photographed from Buck Hill. This is a horse farm and the barn and white fence are part of the farm. Some of the fields can be seen through the trees.

Adjacent to the barn are three houses, 7, 8 and 9 Denise Drive. The prominent house in the upper left corner is 239 High St all in Randolph MA.

Google Earth imagery of Buck Hill from June 3rd, 2024.

This photo is quite remarkable in that it clearly shows the remnants of the Buck Hill fire that occurred on April 27th, 2024, about five weeks prior. North is to the left. I orientated the image such that The Skyline Trail runs from top to bottom. One can clearly see that the fire devastated the north side of the hill. It seems to have burned right up to the Skyline trail and then somehow stopped. Did this happen because firefighting crews were able to get up that trail and establish a barrier? Or was it simply a case where the fire could not jump the trail, which is fairly wide? This photo also shows how lightly forested the top of Buck Hill actually is.

100 Tech office building, 100 Technology Drive, Stoughton MA photographed from Buck Hill.

There are two cell towers in the photo, the near one at 10 York Ave, Randolph MA and the far one at 21 Parker Dr, Avon MA.

There are two storage tanks visible through the trees. One is just to the right of the Randolph cell tower and another to the right of that. These are located off of South St in Avon MA. My guess is that these are not used for water.

Directly behind 100 Tech is a water tower that I have been unable to find. I suspect it is in Bridgewater or Raynham but perhaps it is newer than the imagery. If anyone recognizes it, please leave a comment.

The man-made hill that runs across the image is the landfill in Stoughton MA.

The two cell towers are literally right across Mulberry St from each other.

I found the smokestack is part of the remains of the Bargineer Center Site, which is/was a superfund cleanup site.
