As big tech and advertising companies increasingly flood the web as we knew it, I seem to be moving further and further away. RSS feeds, federated social media, small personal blogs and websites from real people are much more interesting. They load quicker too! For me this is definitely the way forward into the future and a way I can regain a semblance of control.
My own website https://elperronegro.com/ has generally been keeping up with the trend away from mainstream websites, but I've just given it a quick overhaul again. Of course, No Trackers, No Ads and No Analytics. Less code, just the basic text that matters.
It's written by a human too. Of course, it's not very fancy. But it's mine. All mine.

Hint: it’s what’s missing.
