I built a Super Minigun Advanced from parts to adapt the JAMMA connector to normal TV, ordering boards and parts and hand-soldering it all together. I 3D-printed an enclosure on my old Ender 3 at the time (only bottom half seen here).
I hand-wired and Molex-pinned a power supply for the various JAMMA voltages (+12V, +5V, and -5V).
I bought an NES SCART cable for the Minigun output. (Newer version now uses a Genesis Model 2 SCART cable.)
I bought a RetroTINK RGB2COMP to adapt from RGB SCART to component for home TV input.
Rather than buy actual Neo Geo controllers, I bought a Genesis adapter for the 15-pin ports to use controllers I already have.
And I bought a random multi-game Neo Geo MVS cartridge to play.
After all that, there was no video, and I had no idea where to begin diagnosing beyond verifying some basic voltages.
