Jacek 'jacadcaps' Piszczek has released version 1.49 of his e-mail client Iris for MorphOS. Besides bug fixes it is possible now to paste images from the clipboard into the e-mail.

I got annoyed that I couldn't play Liberation easily on my #MorphOS install, so I built a little script that starts the emulator and the game, and exits automatically when the game is closed. Now if only I could remember the settings to coax my wee 1024x768 monitor into 50hz 640x512

MorphOS: Web browser Wayfarer 11.1

An update for version 11 of the MorphOS web browser Wayfarer has been released by Jacek 'jacadcaps' Piszczek. Now based on the current stable WebKitGTK core 2.50.4 it also fixes a bug in full-screen mode. Besides this, SVG radial gradients have been disabled to improve performance.

Schmemory has originally been an AmiBlitz implementation by Dan 'zooperdan' Thoresen of the game Memory for multiple players that required AGA graphics. Achim Kern has done a reimplentation in Hollwood now, making it available for all supported operating systems.

A kind family member got me a 32GB Compact Flash card for Christmas, so I am now installing a more sensibly sized #MorphOS setup onto my system. This should make it more regularly usable, no longer just a test rig.

Well, it looks like I may be getting an old PowerBook G4 for #RetroComputing shenanigans. Apparently it won't boot and the most likely cause it's a dead hard drive, which is fine because I would anyway swap it for a SSD. Probably it can run #MorphOS and that would be amusing.

I don‘t like anything about it, but this 10-core M4 monster runs the #Tahoe gui as fast as my G5 does run #MorphOS #Ambient, so I think my wife may use that MacBook to her satisfaction.

Likely a perfect Advent exercise (read: to reduce relying on things and to fast) to be online using #MorphOS and a #NetBSD shell.

Heard RAM is expensive these days? I'm on 1,5GB, working perfectly fine. ;-) #MorphOS #permaComputing
