Recently, when thrifting, I found this lovely pair of socks. It’s obviously handmade. The tension is a bit looser than I like, but I just couldn’t let it linger there. I will be wearing them, if not in my boots at least to bed!

Another pair of #knittedsocks 😍 For these I used the Soma Sock pattern by Summer Lee Design Co with this adorable mock cable design! I adore the ombre yarn too, which I bought on a weekend away with my girlfriends. These socks make me think of happy times, so I will call them my friendship socks! #sockknitting

Finally finished these socks. They were my second backup project so only pulled out when I couldn't do the first two. I reaquainted myself with cabling, discovered how annoying cable needles could be on, say, a crowded train, but then learned how to cable without a needle. Yay!

Also reaquainted myself with how much I don't enjoy magic loop knitting so went back to a set of dpns for the second sock. And so the second sock is about two sizes larger which no one but me (and you) will ever know.
