The bench sits on a paved area between ingress and exit roads to the station; the perspective lines of the bench and roads all point to the small, modern station building (which is barely in use now, as the station is un-staffed). The track over this one is fairly level; many roads over canal bridges are so humped that visibility is severely restricted. The left edge of the canal here curves sharply towards and under the bridge as the canal narrows, leaving space for the towpath. The reflection of the bridge opening in the still water looks like a backwards capital B. There are trees to left and right.
