Die derzeitige Windgeschwindigkeit beträgt teilweise nur noch 100- 250 km/h. Dadurch mäandert er, bekommt diese „Wellen“ und Kaltluftblasen brechen nach Süden aus.

This is encircled, and typically trapped, by a strong wind pattern called a #jetstream, which is at a lower level in atmosphere. That separates cold air in Arctic from warmer air to south. Research suggests the jet stream has been weakening of late, making it wobblier.
