I made the mistake of reading people's comments to video footage from yesterday's #Starship #IFT4 flight, and want to comment on that annoying noise that is not helpful:
1) self-proclaimed rocket scientists designing component changes.
2) abject failure deciders.
3) politics ad hominem attackers ascribing commenter beliefs to some projected spot on the liberal/conservative, commie/MAGA, or socialist/oligarchist spectra.
4) equation of #SpaceX success/failure with its rich employee/owner.

Dass diese Mission alle wichtigen Missionsziele erreicht hat (wenn auch am Ende mit einer echten "Hail Mary"-Landung), sollte nicht drüber hinwegtäuschen, dass der Weg bis zum ersten bemannten Flug noch SEHR lang ist und #SpaceX weit hinter dem Zeitplan ist, den sie der #NASA damals versprochen hatten. #ift4

One good thing to realize about #IFT4 is that entry was less than 1/17th the heating rate you need to handle to return from cislunar trajectories. To put into context what Orion and Apollo (or, soon, returning #CE6 samples) handled vs. this. And what Starship would need to handle to have been used for human return from the #moon (say if Dear Moon hadn't been cancelled). With margins, things need to improve about two orders of magnitude for #Starship to be a safe human return S/C, probably
