- List of mobile apps on #flathub: https://flathub.org/en-GB/apps/collection/mobile/1
- I do not play music, but there is #Gapless installed by default.
- I listen podcast daily with GNOME Podcasts: https://flathub.org/en-GB/apps/org.gnome.Podcasts
- I listen to internet radio daily with #ShortWave: https://flathub.org/en-GB/apps/de.haeckerfelix.Shortwave
- I do not use bluetooth, so I cannot say how well it works. I use the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
- I like that the Librem 5 is produced by a real #Linux first social purpose company.

on top of what was already mentioned:
- #Iotas for notes (with nexcloud sync)
- #foliate for ebooks (especially fullscreen where it now turn on dimming, etc)
- #gapless for music
- #flare for signal
#Gapless, a light weight foss music player written in GTK4 👇🎧 | (I tried it and I liked it, although it's available as flatpak, it doesn't take up a lot of disk space)

Another day out with #phosh and the #OP6
- Woke up with #gnomeClocks ⏰
- Looked up the address of the 🍟 via #Firefox and its mobile config
- picked my way via #puremap's offline map feature
- Send #SMS via #Chatty
- Replied a toot via #tuba
- Listened to 🎵 via #gapless
- Looked up the appointment time on #phosh's lockscreen 📆 plugin backed by #eds
- Checked 💗 pulse via a simple pacer up using #phosh's lancher plugin for the short 🚶
No console needed.
One thing that bothered me since some time is that for switching between different 🎶 players required to🔓 the 📱 .
So e.g. pausing #gnome podcasts to listen to music via #gapless needed ever so many steps. I've thus added a lockscreen plugin to #phosh that tracks all currently running media players that use #mpris and allows to interact with them.
This is all pretty rough still but I can hopefully brush it up for 0.48 (https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/phosh/-/merge_requests/1729).
@BrodieOnLinux #PulseAudio is crazy...
Any app (easy to control with #Flatpak) that has Pulseaudio permission can not only output sound, but spy on your mic too.
It is pretty shocking how few apps have native Pipewire support. #Gapless, #Celluloid and #Haruna (modern and nice audio and video players) are all Wayland-native but rely on Pulseaudio.
Firefox supports pipewire... for webcams??
Pipewire-pulse is no real change, but for sure I can do cool snakey things with the sound stream
Since everybody seems to use #spotify #deezer or #youtubemusic for their #music consumption, people like me, who still have their own music library are more or less left behind.
I still copy files from my laptop to my smartphone and #gnome 's #rhythmbox did exactly that quite nicely. But it's retired for a long time. #gapless is a quite nice alternative, but missing sorting "by date added to music library" and the ability to copy the files directly from the interface to the filemanager. #linux
Why is #google #chromecast so bad? I'm waiting around a full minute before streaming from my #Android device begins.
#Gapless playback is non existant. #Airplay is so much better.
