This ex-tenant still lives on the plantation but works for wages of one dollar a day. He estimated that he worked about 190 days during 1936. Near Clarksdale, Mississippi

At the #horse #stables w/ daughter, for weekly #horseRiding dose. Mud everywhere, but the thawing bog is green - so maybe it’s #spring Who knows, as it was -18 deg. C 2 weeks ago and +9 now.

There is an #old #tractor. It has a #PTO shaft, double headlights & yellow bottle of Prestone inside, for added mood 😉

Not sure what it is. We were an #agriculture.al powerhouse after WWII, so it can be our #Ursus. But it can also be a license-produced #MasseyFerguson or even #Fordson , popular here.
