Working on my fall game jam concept in SuperBasic on the Foenix F265K. I'm super stoked at how fast and how fun that language is to work in! Making some solitaire patience games for it. Pyramid was first because the tableau and mechanics were easiest to try.

I don't expect to place (there are wayyyyy more talented people in it), but I do intend to release it and have a heck of time making it!

So last night the dev team released a new version of Superbasic for the F256K2 that boosted my sprite load performance by 10x at least. Had to make a video to show the difference and some new features.

In this video, I take my Video Poker project—originally written in SuperBasic on the Foenix F256K2—and give it a serious power-up by porting it to LLVM-MOS, a modern C toolchain for 6502-based systems.
