Suggestions wanted: I’m planning to take roughly a week to do some fast-packing somewhere in the US Mountain West next summer. What 100-150 mile loop or point-to-point with shuttle options would you try if you had the opportunity? My bias is toward high altitude and remote. Established trails are optional. Driving distance from Denver area is another big plus.

Rather than being a conventional low-top trail runner, the Ultra Raptor II Mid GTX is a mid-height trail runner/hiker – the line on which I’d categorize it myself is pretty blurred. One of the things I've learned while fastpacking around the Alps: Size matters. It seems a bit unnecessary to buy a new plug jist to spare some volume & weight, but i t adds up quickly.
Plus one of my friends accidentally snatched an old one from me while visiting, so fair enough.

Test nowego zakupu. Namiot ultralight o wadze całkowitej (ze szpilkami, pokrowcem i linkami) około 890 gram. To już ostatni element bike/fastpackingowego ekwipunku. Pierwotnie, rozważałem kupno hamaka z moskitierą i tarpem, ale absolutnie nie wysypiam się dyndając pomiędzy drzewami.
Za trzy tygodnie wyruszam w pierwszą dłuższą wyrypę. Zostało tylko dopieszczenie przebiegu trasy oraz praca nad formą.
