Auf etwa halber Strecke von #Middelkerke nach #Sint_Niklaas, also mitten in den #Niederlanden, verspürten wir beide etwas Hunger. Laut dem #Navigationssystem sollte hier gleich ein #Grill_Imbiss sein. Also auf den #Parkplatz fahren und mal sehen.
Es war kein #Imbiss, sondern dass #Dockside, ein #Grillrestaurant, mit eigener #Fleischtrockenkammer, dass bereits in der #Kabel1 Sendung #Mein_Lokal_Dein_Lokal den ersten Platz belegt hat.
Was immer dass aussagt.

Looking out across Collingwood Dock to the crenelated old hydraulic accumulator tower, its clock face just about visible.

Black and white image: A historic Bosphorus Tour Ship is being loaded with passengers who cross a gangway from the dockside to board. The viewer can make out the vessel’s Captain - whose head and shoulders are visible in an open window on the vessel’s Bridge deck high above - as he oversees the process. The cuffs of his uniform bear the braid insignia that indicate his rank. In white script, that stands out from the largely black-painted ship superstructure, the vessel’s name ‘Le Vapeur Magique’ is painted below the Captain’s window.

Joined up a couple of my regular routes to make my usual West Derby -> Kirkby loop a bit longer with a run down to Bootle. 24 miles in total.
