Happened to be nearby for the #WalkForPeace as they passed through #DecaturGA. Met some lovely people out to share support and respect, and to witness the monks passing through.

Gotta say, though, the part that made me smile most warmly was the several times someone in the crowd started to cheer, followed quickly by a chorus of shushing as their neighbors gently educated them about the differences between this event and a celebratory parade.

Ghion restaurant on N. Druid Hills near Decatur makes tasty Ethiopian food, both meaty and vegan. Their vegan tibs are very good.

Fourth coffeeneuring ride was with my daughter. She chose a Starbucks that’s not too far for her. I had a black coffee and she got a pumpkin spice creme frappuccino that she ended up not liking. She was a champ on the bicycle.
