... and here are the Izakaya and Apartment together. It’s almost a skyline now!
The power transfer is working flawlessly.

Done! This thing is huge! It was really fun to build. Now three sets from the #CyberpunkNeonCity series are left. I just need to enter negotiations with my wife about where I can put these. 😅
Hopefully, they release some smaller sets in the future.

Yesterday, the cold that's been going around the family finally caught up with me. Luckily, brick building doesn't require breathing through the nose. 🤒
On the bright side, it gave me plenty of time to assemble stages five to nine.
As there are lots and lots of cool details, maybe I'll post some more pictures later.

Good morning! I just couldn't help myself and started the Apartment set yesterday. 🙈

Here are some impressions from the first four (of eleven) steps. Once again, there are so many cool details that make the building process really fun.

The replacement part has arrived!
Time to put on the finishing touches!

Don't ask me why the pack has a different number and they sent all colors. 😅🤷

The next project has arrived and is ready to go! 🤩

Just have to finish the Izakaya with the replacement part that's going to be delivered tomorrow. 😅

Dang! A piece is missing. I guess the final two stages will have to wait until Lumibricks service sends out a replacement. 😑

After eight out of ten construction stages, the Izakaya and the office space above it are finished. All the lights are working, and it looks absolutely fantastic in the dark! 🤩

The final two steps will focus on the Takoyaki stand next to the restaurant.

Mainly worked on the baseplate and routing the cables. Now, the ramen vending machine and the first wall of the Izakaya are already standing.

Ellis Island 1917 March 7 (date created or published later by Bain)
Bain News Service
1 negative : glass ; 5 x 7 in. or smaller.

Ellis Island is an island in New York Harbor, within the U.S. states of New Jersey and New York. Owned by the U.S. government, Ellis Island was once the busiest immigrant inspection and processing station in the United States. From 1892 to 1954, nearly 12 million immigrants arriving at the Port of New York and New Jersey were processed there; as many as two-fifths of Americans may be descended from these immigrants. It has been part of the Statue of Liberty National Monument since 1965 and is accessible to the public only by ferry. The north side of the island is a national museum of immigration, while the south side of the island, including the Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital, is open to the public through guided tours.

The image is a historical black-and-white photograph labeled "ELLIS ISLAND" at the top. It depicts a scene at what appears to be an immigration processing area on Ellis Island. The photograph shows a group of individuals, likely immigrants, standing in front of a brick building with large arched windows and doors. There are several large bags and bundles on the ground, suggesting that these are the belongings of the individuals. The individuals are dressed in period clothing, with men wearing suits and hats and women wearing long dresses. The setting appears to be outdoors, with the building serving as a processing station for immigrants arriving in the United States. The atmosphere suggests a moment of transition and anticipation, typical of the immigration experience at Ellis Island during the early 20th century.

If I told you a picture is not enough to share the building brick train station, last year I would not have believed myself.

Not sponsored: I can totally recommend Lumibricks if you think alternatives are too expensive or have other drawbacks. There were no missing parts and brick quality is good. No stickers at all, only prints - there a plenty, all looking fantastic.

If you do not like the cyberpunk style, my wife is building a steam punk set which I might share when its done.
