The warmest days of the year so far in Helsinki, but soon the temperature will drop dramatically. No rest for the camera shutter before that, so I walked through the Pikku Huopalahti neighborhood once again yesterday. There were a lot people out and about, and wildlife too – such as Canada geese, barnacle geese and black-headed gulls.

I left my sunglasses at home today – a rookie mistake. I actually missed a decent photo opportunity because it was difficult to observe the environment in the blinding light. It was cold, but it's March now, so the sun has enough power to start melting the snow despite the cold – especially the roads. And fortunately there were at least a couple of clouds in the sky for photography.

There were a lot of people enjoying the sunny weather – and two feisty Canadians. They have returned, it seems. Someone had the bright idea to introduce Canada geese to Finland back in the day. Sure, it's an invasive species here, but I don't mind them too much.
