My tiny win for today: I finally figured out how to get rid of the default macOS dropdown menus and replace them with the style Apple uses in System Settings. It’s a small thing, but wow — it looks so much better!

The Batch Cleanup and Renaming window in #AudioBo just got a nice facelift. These are before and after pics.

Why is this on my mind? I’m currently building Settings windows for #AudioBo and have two goals:

1. Provide a more prominent location than the menubar menu for the app language picker.

2. Add an option for users to set a default folder for exporting audiobooks.

This is the best batch cleanup & rename UI I’ve encountered so far for #AudioBo. The idea is to remove all junk from existing book chapters and then use the results to create unique chapter names.

For a typical audiobook, the cleanup feature alone is sufficient, but for books without chapters the user can generate a distinctive sequence of names instead of the dull 01, 02, 03.
