When uploading a build to TestFlight, is there any way at all to provide test notes (aka What to Test) up front, without waiting for build processing?

Build processing takes 5-7 minutes on a good day, but yesterday App Store Connect had a sneeze and processing was taking hours (causing a bunch of cancelled/failed builds).

#AppStoreConnect age rating nonsense cont’d.

May see age settings when you look at App Info. If you only have the option to view your settings (no edit option) you may see some questions you have not answered. You may not be able to answer those questions.

With a new build you should be able to answer all the questions for the new build. Those answers appear to trickle down to the earlier version and clear the warning dialog.

Unsure this is resolution?

This whole age rating thing with #AppStoreConnect needs some serious clarification. I’ve seen speculation that you need to update the age info AND submit a new build. That would be 100% unacceptable. Apple has the ability to do whatever needs to happen on their end.

I don’t necessarily believe that is the case but if so it’s awful.

Also seen reports that people with no apps got the email. Apple needs to fix their shit.

I reviewed over a dozen of my apps in #AppStoreConnect to see if they have the new age settings. It’s completely unclear if they are in compliance in many cases.

Some apps don’t show the age rating needed messages. I assume those are ok. Some appear to have the age rating set but include the message.

Something this simple should not be so confusing.
