Yo llevo tiempo usando y recomendando AdGuard en su versión con filtro de rastreadores y bloqueo de publicidad. Muy poco se valora esta herramienta cuando la mayoría de la gente que conozco utiliza un navegador sin extensión que evite la inundación de publicidad.

Immer wieder "schön" zu sehen, das ein Werbeblocker einfach nur Selbstschutz ist. Diese KI-generierte Werbung spielte mir die YouTube-App aus. Link führt natürlich zu einem Fakeshop, der arme Uhrmacher muss ja alle Uhren vor seiner Rente verkaufen.
Empfehle Adguard auch fürs Smartphone. Blockt leider nicht in der YouTube-App, man kann jedoch dafür auch den Adguard-Browser nutzen. Link wird übrigens vom Adguard-DNS geblockt.

SOLUTION: - NixOS with AdGuard DNS

You just cannot include the port, or it will not resolve. To be more clear, ping resolved, but my web browser in Flatpak did not. Drop the port and the above works nicely (as I am posted from there now).

NixOS and AdGuard DNS

I am told to use the following in dnsmasq.conf:

no-resolv
bogus-priv
strict-order
server=94.140.14.49
server=94.140.14.59
port=My_Port
add-cpe-id=My_ID

I am just trying to figure out how I would actually get NixOS to do this. Because I am pretty sure editing dnsmasq.conf may not actually work (unless I am wrong?).

So...I gave up with AdGuardDNS and NextDNS actually

Problem I have with AdGuardDNS is Linking the IP address on certain ISP, the problem is only for the Desktop, Mobile is fine I think. AdGuard Home no worky on Arch Linux as well. Either that or I just suck on configuring my network on Arch Linux (or Linux in general), I am not very well experienced with it

Problem I have with NextDNS is, it's "Allowlist" suck ass. There is this one website I wanna allow, but it just allow that address, not the rest of whatever is in that address (ex: media will not load, link no worky etc.). And since it's based in US.....eh, not sure if I wannya use it due to whatever the fuck is going on in US recently

So am defaulting myself to use default DNS...yeah I know, it's bad, but really what are the other option I can use??

Switched to AdGuard DNS...it works, but not on my iPhone iPad.....am getting SSL error (ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR) when opening any links except NextDNS or AdGuard DNS links, and I have no idea how to fix it (restarting my router does not fix it)
Same goes with NextDNS actually, but idk if it works again but with NextDNS, I would just restart my router and the SSL error would gone

Any help would be appreciated. In the meantime, am switching back to NextDNS until my AdGuard DNS issues got resolved.......
