@Tussis an update was released pretty quickly. after updating both tor browser and the kde runtime (back to the latest), it's working fine for me.

if your Tor Browser flatpak is refusing to launch, you might be running into this issue: https://github.com/flathub/org.torproject.torbrowser-launcher/issues/180#issuecomment-3867147434

as the comment suggests, downgrading the kde runtime (for now) fixes it.

as for the in-store tracking / triangulation issue, some OSes have a Wi-Fi Timeout feature that turns off Wi-Fi if you've been away from a saved network for a while. this can help — or you can turn off Wi-Fi yourself.

i'm not sure what to do about your router being put on a map (whether public like WiGLE, or private like Google). even if you choose a common network name for your router that blends in, seems you'd need the same for its MAC address and other identifiers.
