About the time, when a big step for the mankind on the moon (Apollo) was prepared, computer technology made a big step as well. Silicon and integrated circuits started a new age of computation ( System/360 ).
Now, more than 50 years later, we are about to repeat the step towards the moon (Artemis), while silicon technology scaled-down down to 2nm and computation is about to open a new area driven by quantum logic. ( Osprey , IBM Quantum System Two )

I started with a higher share of my time on Local and Federated. But over time and with increasing number of connections found, the relevant content is now federating in my Home timeline. There is less need to look outside.

Eva, this is not my area of expertise. But I think the IBM research Project "Debater" (2019) is a good example.
It is about understanding natural language and responding in a meaningful way.

But the problem is not just the AI "tool" but the Ethics Framework around. It starts with the selection of unbiased training data, then governance and transparency.
There are a big efforts and many partnerships to further work on this challenge.
